The Summer Internship In Palestine Program
The Internship in Palestine Program in Summer combines an Arabic language focus with complete learning, immersion, and engagement in Palestinian culture, politics, and history. It includes visits to Bedouin areas (e.g., Susiya), Palestinian refugee camps, local villages, organizations, and community centers. The internship program is suitable for interns over the age of 18 with the ability to communicate in English. Salam Palestine does not expect interns to be proficient in Arabic; however, you will have Arabic lessons during your program and plenty of opportunities to practice in an authentic and safe setting.
While we run this program year-round, there are some differences in the summer. For example, because Palestinian students have school holidays in summer, this allows us to run more English classes and educational activities for Palestinian youth. However, no matter when you join us for this program, there will be many exciting activities and opportunities for you to enjoy.

Furthermore, participants residing with a Palestinian host family will likely be invited to family gatherings and cultural events, guaranteeing a culturally immersive experience!
